‘Fantastic voyage through the Body of an Artist.’
EXHIBITION by DDV in KIOSK Gent13/04-09/06/2024
For the exhibition of Danny Devos I was asked to make a soundtrack.
Togheter with Jakke Jalink we set forth to create a six hour soundpiece with material from the archives of DDV and Clubmoral, and our own production as well. The soundtrack is played in KIOSK and on their website during opening hours.
At the opening Jakke Jalink and I did a performance: ‘Those behind the filthy system should suffer.’, deteriorating a tapeloop of said soundtrack. We used a Nagra 4.2, razor blade, Aluminium tubing and an old filthy four-part soundsystem.
